Meadow Dune Downs is a collection of audio vignettes, celebrating / commiserating the season of summer. A doleful, but nostalgic trip to a field or a beach. Another town or country. A place that you have to enjoy and be present in while you're there for all those around you. There are things to do, and people to see. Such hard work to stay here, but equally painful to leave there.

I wrote a two-verse Haiku for each track, and then used AI to create images based on those Haikus.

I was given a lot on this album.

Writer and filmmaker John Kerrison lent me some words of his to speak on "It's All Out There" describing a very ordinary, but an unbelievable day out. Master craftsman, Ben Elbel helped me translate and spoke prose that I wrote for "Our Reality". Thanks to my daughter for allowing me to borrow her Loog Guitar (which I play more than her), as well as her voice on "This Views For Baby". Thank you to Penny & John Hodgson for giving us the piano which I was able to use to craft a lot of the pieces here. Shout out to Barbara Edwards for delivering a stark, but informative weather forecast that fits precisely on "BSGMT".

A BIG thank you to Carrie, who let me pour this out while she has been busy carrying our 2nd child. I love you darling, I know I should be more present.
