During quarantine, we were put on the shielding list because of my immunosuppressant medications. Like everyone else shielding, we had significantly reduced our movements and interactions (up to the date of writing this - October 2020, we still are), and like everyone else, have experienced the depression & anxiety, joy & love, boredom and inventiveness of just being in the house.

VAXXER was written the day my daughter went back to school. Carrie and I were both happy that she would be hanging out with her friends again and would be returning to some form of normalcy, but also anxious & sad that our time in the house was at an end, and things were not actually normal. Trying to retain a happy house whilst monitoring the news and worrying incessantly about this invisible thing which everyone seems to have an opinion on - and blindly hoping that at some point soon, we’ll all accept a magic jab that'll burn it all away, so we can return to idly walking down the street and hugging random people again, just like we did before - it’s hard, no?

I’ve tried my best to convey my thoughts on this into a single track. Not sure if I have succeeded, but have said what I wanna say on it.
